Perpetual Motion ran its first Stall Fall Tournament in September of 2003 and it instantly became a favourite. In 2012, Perpetual Motion celebrated the 10th annual Stall Fall Classic. The tournament became popular as it promotes a high level of competitiveness all while maintaining a fun, well-spirited vibe. It is very well-organized, with bagels and fruit provided to all of the teams. This, for some, is the most important part of a good Ultimate Tournament! Because of its popularity, the Stall Fall Classic has attracted teams from Ottawa, Montreal, Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie and even Pennsylvania!
The Stall Fall Classic offers two divisions (both are mixed teams): an A division and a B division. "A" division teams generally play together regularly and have a fair amount of experience. University and nationally-ranked teams comprise a large part of the teams in this division. The reasoning for this is because the Stall Fall tournament is considered the "prep" tournament for the University Ultimate Series, including Easterns and Nationals. The "B" Division is composed of teams with many levels of experience, from new league teams to more experienced teams. Many of the teams in this division are also the Universities’ B-teams.
Despite what your skill level may be, the Stall Fall Classic is a great opportunity to improve your skills in a fun and competitive format.
